These beautiful items from "The Seamstress Of Bloomsbury" are as good as it gets if you love authentic vintage 1940s designs & totally in keeping with original style, For the most part these are exact reproductions of a classic 1940s items, made with complete integrity from the finest Rayon Crepe de Chine fabric just like the originals too.. It is nice and light, soft to the touch, hangs beautifully and easy care too... Wash by hand or in a machine on "Delicates" setting at 30 degrees

A "Seamstress of Bloomsbury" Original, Simply the best quality fabric, attention to detail and authentic Lilian Wells design. Lilian was the original "Seamstress of Bloomsbury".. She made beautiful items of clothing throughout the 1930s, 40s & Early 50s for London's aristocracy, battling the Blitz & circumstances that we cant even begin to imagine, but never compromising on her quality or delightful craftsmanship.. She was a very private but wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. Through this wonderful range of 1940s clothing is aimed to continue her legacy..
