The Big Jive All-Dayer is The Jive Aces annual 12-hour jive-a-thon held in the Worthing Assembly Hall in Sussex, a beautiful art deco style building with a huge dance floor. Last year saw a fantastic anniversary Rockabilly Rave followed by a sell-out Hot Rod Hayride and a record-breaking sold-out Rhythm Riot. We came home absolutely knackered but buzzing with excitement about the future of the rockin’ scene.
Then our Rave and Riot venue closed overnight. No warning. No explanation. No apology. A surprising end to 25 fantastic years at Pontins, but perhaps a timely one due to the lack of maintenance of the site and the chalets.
Our search for a new venue started immediately. It’s not easy to find great spaces for music and dancing, with superb quality accommodation, good food options and friendly staff, but we did! And at an award-winning holiday park.
Understandably, because Vauxhall Holiday Park is a massively popular site, we couldn’t get a Summer date for the Rave. The only date available was the end of March, so it was either take the March date, or close the Rave. Knowing how many people love the Rave and the joy it brings to thousands of fans from around the world, you’ll be thrilled to know we’re going ahead 27th-31st March 2025!
Come and enjoy all the usual Rave features, international acts and DJs spread over three venues, the biggest indoor vintage and retro marketplace, superb food options and, of course, the five star quality accommodation. Enjoy being back at a huge Rockabilly Rave full of people drinking, dancing and laughing, and just hanging out with their friends from around the world.

Vintage Nostalgia Festival
Summertime is in full Swing as we move to August for the amazing Retro Festival..
Retro Festival is a three-day experience that takes place at Newbury Showground every year. The festival has become home to one of the largest vintage fairs in the UK and it’s certainly not one to miss, each year getting bigger and better so if you are at all into vintage style, music and dancing, then this weekend is perfect for you! there is something for the whole family here and is in it's 40th year .. you can find me and Mike at here in the Vintage Market located at the top by the Spitfire ... see you there xx
Twinwood Festival 2025
Absolutely buzzing to be at Twinwood Festival again this year !! the video below is our set up last year for our first trading at this fabulous event .. The history here at Twinwood is just fabulous ..
In addition to the vast array of live music, Twinwood Festival also hosts a large number of trader stalls, displays and museums, showcasing or selling all things vintage, from fashion and hairstyling, to arts and antiques, to motors and militaria. Read on for a rundown of the many excellent permanent displays and museums hosted at our historic Twinwood Airfield site,
During WWII, Twinwood Airfield was a RAF training base. During this time, Glenn Miller and his Orchestra were based in nearby Bedford as a safer alternative to London, and Glenn Miller and his band members regularly used RAF Twinwood Airfield. On August 27th 1944, Glenn Miller performed a special concert at RAF Twinwood. It was the only outdoor concert he performed at a British base. Later that year, on December 15th 1944, Major Glenn Miller was due to leave England for France. He boarded a Norseman aircraft outside Twinwood Control Tower, and he was never seen again. This sparked a mystery that has fascinated the world ever since... its a must see for sure ..

Next Stop Goodwood Revival .. an absolute favourite of mine ..always falling near my birthday, and this year will be my 11h visit ..
This event is not to be missed! attendees travel from all across the world to visit Revival.. you have to go to understand why.. here is a previous blog i had written on the ever amazing Goodwood Revival .. we will for for sure be in the crowds again this year ..
