A Classic 1940′s Shirtwaister Dress with Buttons at the front and a belted waist for easy comfortable fitting. Finishes 2” below the knee. The Slipper Atomic Satin Print is a beautiful, soft fabric by The Seamstress of Bloomsbury and creates a fabulous movement to the dress.

She made beautiful items of clothing throughout the 1930s, 40s & Early 50s for London's aristocracy, battling the Blitz & circumstances that we cant even begin to imagine, but never compromising on her quality or delightful craftsmanship.. She was a very private but wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. Through this wonderful range of 1940s clothing we aim to continue her legacy..
